Laurence Holt is a Senior Advisor at XQ Institute and Teaching Lab. He is also a partner in the Coherence Fund, making early stage investments in AI-enabled EdTech. He was previously Chief Product Officer of Amplify where he oversaw the design and development of products used by millions of K-12 students and teachers. 

Before that, Laurence founded Quidnunc, a consulting firm that grew to 300 people in London and New York and won the prestigious Economist Knowledge Culture Award. 

Previously a bond trader with Credit Suisse First Boston, Laurence also created software which was integrated into Microsoft Outlook and wrote three award-winning books.

Laurence holds a degree in Computing Science from Imperial College, London and a Masters in Neuroscience and Education from Columbia University.
