Julie is a seasoned educator and leader with over two decades of experience shaping the educational landscape. As a System Partner at ANet, she designs and facilitates system-wide professional learning sessions, leveraging her deep understanding of system strategy to provide valuable insights, particularly for system leaders. Julie’s expertise lies in bridging educational practices with strategic leadership, ensuring that each initiative aligns with broader organizational goals.
Before joining ANet's system team, Julie spent five years as a coach for ANet’s Colorado/New Mexico region, where she worked closely with schools to improve student outcomes. Her career began in South Chicago, where she played a pivotal role in opening two new campuses, serving in various roles including teacher, instructional coach, and principal. Julie’s diverse experiences have given her a unique perspective on both the challenges and opportunities in education.
In addition to her work in schools, Julie is a Certified Executive Coach, dedicated to supporting leaders in their professional growth. Her educational background includes a BS.Ed from Illinois State University, a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet University, and a MA in Math Education and Leadership from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She also holds an Administrative Type 75 certification from DePaul University. With her passion for developing both educators and leaders, Julie continues to make a lasting impact on education systems nationwide.
